After watching Carl Sagan talk about the Cosmos how do you feel about what he said?  Explain what you think he ment by "The Cosmos is all there is, or ever will be" .  Oh and give me more then a one line response too.

I personally don't agree with him, he is an idiot because he also contradicts himself since he believes one thing and says another. By saying "The Cosmos is all there is, or ever will be" he means that there was nothing before the Cosmos/Universe and once it ends there will be nothing. That is not true, he is only seeing inside the box which in this case is the Cosmos. There is more outsid it, Heaven and Hell. He says ther is none of them only the Universe, and also that we are made of starstuff.

Carl Sagan is saying things that isn"t true and wants everyone to believe what he is saying, not everyone should or will believe that.Carl Sagan said that,"The Cosmos is all there is,or ever was,or will be.How can the Cosmos be the only living thing, God made a lot of things.that is not true, God made plants, animals and humans.God also made heaven and hell.Carl sagan says that their is only the universe and that we are made of starstuff,God didn't make us of that, his phrases are totally wrong and all lies.

I think that everything he said had a lot holes in it, and nothing made sense. He thinks that all there are are only the Cosmos, which he only thinks are stars, and we're all "star stuff". That sounds more ludacris than an albino lifeguard. Humans and all that exists have a much more complicated purpose that just existing for no reason and being made of "star stuff". I doubt many people know what he saying, but then again, he is Humanist of the Year, and I'm not sure how he won that award.

Creation means that God spoke us and the whole cosmos into being. Christianity proclaims the eternally self-existent God who freely and graciously created all things for his glory and man’s well-being. This stands in stark contrast to the dominant cultural belief “that the cosmos is all there is or ever will be”, that life arose as the result of a chance collision of molecules, and that it has, through an impersonal, unsupervised process, evolved into the world as we know it today. Secularism declares that only matter is eternal in any and all its forms–including human life–and has no purpose whatsoever. Happily, secular orthodoxy is being rapidly and seriously challenged by current scientific developments, more and more of which tend to support the theory of Intelligent Design.

I would have to agree with Ignacio that Carl Sagan is an idiot. what he is saying is totally off. it makes no sense at all. because not only created cosmos but many other things, such as energy, humans, and animals.there isn't any reason for us to believe that, because through many ways god has shown us what really is and exist.

By him saying that what's out there is what's out there and it always will be there... I personally think that that is a pretty daft way to think because it couldn't have just always been there, it must have been created/ designed by something or someone(God)...I also liked when he said that we are all made of "star stuff". I found that idea quite humurous and quite impossible ;).

He definitely needs God! According to what i believe, what he said was pretty muck crazy. i honestly think that he bought some lie and now hes trying to sell it. there is nothing without God, God is everywhere. and what he said about the cosmos being all there is and ever will be, well i don't really get the full meaning of it but our Tour guide helped me understand it a little better. i think that what Carl Sogan was saying is that there was no god and god will never be. he also said that we were made of star stuff, this made me laugh. how could he think this? we are way more than star stuff, God made us according to himself.

We are 'not' made form star stuff, because we are from the powerful God. There is no way to explain we are from that idiot name, because we have heart, feeling and soul, we are not just form a star stuff and become a 'stuff'. Like what my Christian friend says: everybody are different but no matter what God will love us and in His eyes we are the best. But star stuff??
No, of course not
If we are from star stuff(the thing that is no power), how could everybody so different?
So I believed we are the creation of God. And God also creative other super stuff, like sky, wind and animal.
But star stuff couldn't...

I personally thought that he needed some help. He thinks that all the things are made from star stuff even human beings. I guess he loves the stars and thinks that stars are His gods. I thought that there was something wrong with him. To have a place like earth and universe(including stars) there must be a Creator who we as a Christian believe that God created it. Without a Creator, nothing will exist. I think the statement that he said about the cosmos means that when cosmos is over, nothing will exist. I think that this is just a stupid opinion and idea. There is a place called heaven and hell which still will exist.

i think he believes that all the things are made by star stuff like us as humans too. Nothing could ever exist if someone or something didn't create it.i think the statement he made about the cosmo's is that when its over nothing will be or exist in other terms. this is only my opinion others might be similar but we all have different comments but they might be close in some way or connection.

well i think that he has so issues!! the "cosmos" is more literally translated into "space" and from what i believe there is more out there than just space. space could not create everything that exists today, all the creatures, and plants and all that stuff had to have some sort of design and designer. the fact that we were all made of "star stuff" is quite ghostly how could all the "star stuff" know where to go to create each human being,and/or creature to have his or her own disposition!! that is what i think of what he said!!
What i think he wanted to say is that the world will never change even hundreds of years from now humans will still inhabit the earth and the earth will still be unchanged. He believes in a divine order of creation. So there are many realms you fall under, both physical and noetic.

i dont think what he is saying is the truth...to m its a lie. we are certainly not made from staart stuff. i just think there is somethign wrong with him. Everything must have a creator and the universe is such a complex place that i think only someone reall powerful could have down and that would be God.As a cristin i dont believe in what he was talking about i belive in our creator God.

What Carl Sagan is saying is that there has never been a God and there will never be a God. How he thinks we came to be i dont know. I mean with out God there would be nothing but he has taken God out of it and made up some thing and wants us all to believe in it. I dont even know what he believes i just think its a bunch of bogus. He said that we were all made from star stuff!!! which is so crazy it really made me laugh though. I dont think he really knows what he believes in.

I believe he.s an idiot...because if we were made of startstuff i dont think we would be able to feel what we feel like pain, lost, joy, love and all that.
When he said that cosmos is all there is and ever will be.. hes saying that there is no creator just a creation somehow.. an nothing else will ever happen or change in the creation that we will continue to do the same thing so hes completely excluding God from the box. But if we do add God into the box the cosmos isnt all there is! and this is what i believe.

Carl Sagan is a man who doesnt see the truth. He believes that there is no life after we are dead. if thats the case then whats the point in living. when he uses the phrase "The Cosmos is all there is, or ever will be" that cant be further from the truth. there is God and Heaven and Hell. there is so much beyond our small universe. also the fact that he said we are made from stardust is just going wacko. obviously that man got an F in Biology.

Well I think that Carl Sagan is definitely lost when it comes to be being aware about reality and the truth is holds. He mentioned that once you are dead, it is the end, and there is no where after that. The end of your existence. He also mentioned that the cosmos is all there is......by that he is stating that the stars is everything there was, is and will be. Nothing Else! Well I believe that is an incredible lie! There is God, Holy Spirit, heaven etc.....and he chooses not to believe it. In fact, his stupid theory probably determined him the position of humanist of the year, what a lame title eh? There is an infinite quantity of wonders beyond what we know and see, and this is believed through the faith we hold in God.

I don't believe Carl Sagan is idiotic, though his beliefs and thoughts he shared with the world i think are absolutely foolish. He states that "the cosmos are is and ever will be" he is saying, 1, there is no God, 2, there never will be a God ,3, the box we are living in is as far as we will ever go in our lifetime, and 4, there is no purpose for living. Carl Sagan shared lies to the world and unfortunately will never be able to take them back. He shared what he believed was the truth but it lacked the real truth, Jesus christ.
His version of reality was the cosmos.
He didn't think that a god could ever be able to create the universe, much less us.
But, to him the thought of us being made of starstuff was easier to believe than a kind, gentle God doing the work to make us and the universe.... :)

Well.. i Think Carl Sagan doesn't know what he is saying... Because i've believed that everything was created by someone and that someone is God... He is sharing lies with the world.. and he believes in it. By what he said he said that there isn't any God and that their never will,... He also said that we were created from star stuff and whatever.. He just doesnt knw what he believes in. But I personally dont believe in that.

what Carl Segan said was totally not true. He think he's right, that's why he shared he's lie to everyone. "The Cosmos is all there is, or ever will be" He don't see the truth, and that is not true. what he mean is that there is no life after we die.. but how can he know that?? It doesn't make any sense...
