OK this is an interesting topic and I want you to put some thought to it. As seen on the video "What is Evil?" I know it will be different for each of you so I ask you to really use your own thought to come up with a response that is from you not just adding to somebody else's reply. Remember it is due by 8:30am on the 27th of may.

well to me, evil is anything having to do with satan. evil is what satan and his targets influence you into doing. the thigs hat are ungody and things that God would not approve of. that is what i think it is.

To me, evil is something that will control our mine to do the wrong thing and tell us to leave God's glory, not followed Him.
But evil is not powerful, it just a 'stuff' that has no love and joy.
God is powerful and have joy and love.
Evil won't do anything for anybody, it is very selfish 'stuff.'
God will do anything for us even we didn't asked Him do it for us, but He knew what we need and what we want, He is the one can gave us love forever.
Love, is something that from heart and from true, also it is something that evil can't have and give.

When it comes to the topic evil, evil is anything that Satan is doing. Without Satan there will not be such as a evil. Satan is the one who is controlling it. Evil is the opposite of God. God didn't create evil, but wonderful world.

Isaiah 45:7 that God creates darkness and disaster. It is not a creation of mankind, nor of fallen beings or Satan. God creates these things directly. Any argument that asserts that evil is a result of Human free will must first get over the fact that the Christian Bible states that God creates evil and disaster itself. Not only does this God create darkness and disaster, but it actively " does " them too. It doesn't merely create them as possibilities for other people, it actively chooses to do them itself.
To me, although I am not glorying evilness, there is always some evil in everybody. If the God of the Bible is truly God, then there is a dilemma; for God to be God, he has to be omnipotent, responsible for the creation of everything; this includes evil; if he did not create evil, then he was not wholly creative, and therefore cannot be God.

i don't exactly believe in evil or good, but the way i view this subject is like this analogy: there are two paths in front of me, one that seems misleading and wrong but also seems affable and tempting, and one that seems virtuous and right but seems stupid and time-wasting to some people.
I choose to take neither paths and be the person who offers wisdom to future travellers. Many people would use God or Satan to be their guide, but it is, nonetheless, a choice made only by that person.

The word "evil" to me is basically anything that's wrong or bad. What is evil? When you said someone's a bad person, it is not base on his personality, but instead, it is based on what he does, that determines the good and bad that person is. Evil is a perfect word for describing Satan, while Satan is the only one that can fully express the word "evil"!

Evil is a bad and wicked thing I think evil comes from the devil, because the devil tricks people to do evil things and they follow the devil. I think bad things and evil things is a sin. I think evil is to the extreme, Because in this world they have evil people, really evil people.People that deals with voodoo,I think are evil because they do some really evil things to them.

Well to me, evil is doing things that God would condemn like not doing what the bible tells us to do. I think anything that deals with the devil is evil, and there are many definition of evil so it is kinda hard to say. I have so much but i can't put them all. God gave us rules to live by, the 10 commandments and evil is doing the opposite of what is said to be done in them.

I don't believe in Evil....It's kinda difficult to explain because evil is suppose to be like with witches and demons and them thing but I think it's some thing to experience and understand.

Well to my understanding the word evil came into the world the same time Satan did. So evil can make us look at things and not really see the harm in it instead we just the fun of it. Evil is full of wrong and deceit.

I believe evil is what you think about, do, and then know you shouldnt have done. It is also doing the devil´s wishes, he wants us to die in hell, where everytrhing is evil. We do not inherit evil but as soon as we get close to it we thinks it is good and just keep it beside us, that stps us from seeing the warni ngs made by Jesus, who is trying to get us back. As Romans 8:13 tells us we need to live in accordance with the spirit, if we live according to this sinful nature we will die, becuase the nature is evil. Also Colossians 3:5-10 tells us what we should get rid of, all those things are evil.

To me, Evil is something that has to be known and understand. It doesn't appear to be something simple, and self logical, but rather very dynamic. It is anything that is a direct result from association with Satan. The devil is rich in knowledge of how to grasp anyone into his trap. His small traps happen to be very tempting and destructive in the consequence area, but yet one is caught in following them. One very important thing about evil, is that we as human beings, are not at all perfect, therefore we may not know that certain thing are evil, or we know they are but choose to ignore the fact, just to be able to experience something new or 'be cool'.

evil is anything to do with lusifer a.k.a the devil just the name says it all in the bible god states that the edevil is the father of all evil.sin is evil and we know sin is evil cause when we do something wrong while doin it we know its wrong but we still do it anyways.evil can come to anyone through the devil and even demonic spirits.

Well evil hmm i personally think that evil is everything to do with the devil because he brought it into the world. also i know we can escape from it some way we always run up into evil so we should always try to avoid the wikid paths of the devil. Satan's total plan, or strategy, is known as Evil, siad in the bible. so yeah thats what i think evil is.

for me evil as being said came in existence because of satan. In my understanding evil is anything that deals with doing what's wrong, even thought sometimes we do things that for us don't appear to be wrong. that's why we have to be careful with what we do.evil could be around us, in this world we have people who could be called as evil. people who would kill and destroy many things including a family.

The word evil can have many different meanings, such as morally bad or wrong, causing ruin, pain or injury, or an evil force, power,or personification. Evil is knowing something that is morally wrong,but still we still doin it. we can't draw the line between evil and good. because it is based on one's opinion. we know that evil is came from Satan, so it's bad. but because we think evil is really easy for us to do, so we would do it even though we know that it is not right. Sometimes we are attracted to evil...bad..oooooohhhhh...

To me, evil is anything that opposes God and his good will. Accordingly, it is anything of the devil and any sin. Basically, evil is wrong..

To me, evil is anyhing ungodly, or against the character of God.
Anything of the devil is evil, because the devil is ungodly and therefore evil.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth, but, there was also good and evil.
God gave us the free will to choose Him or Evil, the Truth or lies, Reality or illusion. Because we are to choose between God or evil, it means they are opposites and cannot be equal !

If we are in God, we know we are doing evil, when we hear the still small voice, telling us it's wrong ... The more we listen to to that voice, the louder and more powerful it becomes in your life. It becomes easier to do what is right and Godly.

Ok... to me, Evil is what we do in the absence of good. Just as darkness is the absence of light and cold the absence of heat. When i hear "Evil" i more likely think about Satan. So when we commit sin, we choose Satan and not God. Evil is anything that contradicts God.

i think that the devil is evil he is the direct meaning and essence of evil. when i think evil i think devil so i guess you could say that the meaning is clear and simple. as a kid i didnt know what evil was i just heard about it but now i know first hand what evil can do to people and how it can affect their lives.
i remember someone telling me the story about creation and how God wanted us to choose him but Satan said that there was only one thing to choose, there was no other option. so God gave us a choice between the devil and himself (good and evil).

Evil is any ting that we find really attractive but is not good for you . it is dun every day an it is normal to do evil things on a daily basis . every one do it every day if it is not your actions it is what you say and thick . wen you look at sum one with lust in your eyes you have just committed sin an a evil action . yes it is very easy to do an hard to not do . evil is very common an tempting to every one .

Evil is when we recieve a certain feeling. Whenever somebody does something evil you get a feeling of guilt at one point or the next so once we reciveve that guilt we should know that something we did was evil.
I believe that evil wasnt what God had really intentioned because in the beginning he was fine but it was the angel Lucifer who decided to rebel and do his own ways and from then on people did what we call evil which is what we do when we dont think about God or include God. In the Bible it also says that God doesnt use evil to tempt us and evil is not of Him... This can be found in James 1:13.
We do evil when we are in our soulish wants and not including God in our lives. Evil is when we do the opposite of what the ten commandments.
But in all I think that only God and the Devil know pefect without a doubt on what is evil and good.

Well to me evil is something that comes from Satan he attacks your mind and he tricks you and you fall into his wicked ways. That's what the devil´s want us to do he comes to kill an Destroyed, he wants us to have eternal life in hell and burn with him. Where everything is evil.
In GOD sight evil is wrong...WE shouldn't do that cause it drifted us away from Him.

Evil is the contradiction to good, the absence of good is evil. evil and good could not exist without each other. Both must exist for the other to exist. Evil is a realm where humans choose to turn from their conscience and commit sinful acts. Evil is the worm eating at the core of society.

thats a hard question cuz evil is different to diff ppl. however it seems now that we go according to what the majority considers to be evil. in the years back we would look at having an abortion as evil now in todays society we look at it as a normal procedure. evil changes with ppl minds set. however as Christians evil stays the same. there is only black and white whatever is not of God is evil.
