Christian Ed 10 11

First I would like to wish all of you a Merry Christmas as you enjoy this time with family and friends.  Now I would like you to take some time and tell what this time of the year means to you.  For those who don't really celebrate the birth of Christ for some reason or another please still add to the blog what you do spend time doing for the Christian Holiday that we are having now.  To be clear we as Christians do understand that Jesus was not really born on the 25th of December.  We do however chose this time to rejoice his coming.  OK now just to make sure you know what your doing.  Please put what you do to enjoy this time of the year.  Take time and put some thought into it before you type.  Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Merry Christams to you also.
well what my family and i do is we all get together and prepare foos for the 25th and then on thhe 25 we all come together and have a time of worship to God. then we get to the gifts. my favorite part of this Christmas is honestly giving to those who dont have. i think it is not fare that while we who have money are so excited about what we will get...there are some people that dont get anything..they want but they cant afford. so my favorite part is giving to those who dont have.

well, hmm..... My family and I celebrates Christmas every year. We would all get together on the day of Christmas, and then after we had a "big and delicious" dinner, we would go gather around the Christmas tree and start talk about what happened the whole year, what we did good or what we need to improve. After everyone in our family done sharing, we then, start to open our Christmas gifts! That's my favorite part of Christmas!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!

Christmas is not about the gift that your going to have or the gift that you want to have, it is about Jesus.
like Mr Salazar said in the school.
we all celebrate together today.
secretly put the presents under the tree at this morning.
it is very cool~
and the best part is that we can celebrate together as a family.
and of course,
after our delicious meal,
we all talked about the things that we've done in this year.
and it feels warm after all
anyways
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year~!!!!

One of the things i do enjoy about Christmasis to watch the public masses claw their way through others to get what they want during the holiday rush. Even though I have to work during the Christmas break, just watching people trying keep the "spirit" of Christmas and beat the holiday rush with some last minute shopping seems very ironic and satirical to me.

P.S. Merry Christmas, even though I still think it's a bit pagan.

well..
Merry Christmas to you to Coach!!
what we normaly do with my family in Mexico is prepare food with my whole family and go to the ranch and spend family time together. But since im in the states it was diffrent. Still spend time with my family. Just spending time with the people you love. What we did this Christmas that I LOVED!! was that we went to a shelter in down town Atlanta and we gave them food and presents and their were a lot of people. It made my day by helping others. And during Christmas my uncle told me a story that just really opend my heart more to christ.

well, apart from celebrating the birth of jesus christ, we as a family come together and make the most food EVR! My mom makes black cake that lasts years (i know this caz my recently cut one from last year) and we open presents...this year i was in charge of christmas breakfast hehe....it was good it do say so myself, Anyway...every Christmas, my family comes from many different places in this tiny world and gathers at our house but, this is the first one that everybody has been here...=D so the tradition of Christmas morning is everyone wakes up about 7 and we gather round(before breakfast) and read about the birth of Jesus from the book of Luke. We take turns reading and when we are done, my grandfather prays and we nominate someone(allister) to hand out one gift at a time...Its always a blast and the food is absolutely delish! all the girls in my family cook (yes including me) and we all sit around to eat..well except one of my aunts and i ( we sit the farthest away from the males caz we cant stand the slurping and chomping sounds)...anyways...ya=D MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!!!!!

Merry Merry Merry Christmas to you too Coach D, I hope that you have been enjoying this wonderful holiday by having a great time with your friends and family. Evry year for Christmas, apart from obvously celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, we traditionally make food. We come together as a family and all take part in the making of the meal and the pastries. We make our turkey, ham, rice and beans, stuffing, cranberry, salads, black cake, white cake, other pastries, other foods and so much more. I knwo it sounds like a load bunch of food, cuz it is, and this is the time of year when i get greedy. But other than the usual, we traveel as a family around the world. every christmas we visit somewhere new, along with visiting family members that live anroad. Also, i take thsi holiday to hnag out with my close friends, as we enjoy the holiday together doing our usual activites and just having fun as one big family.

Well to being with I wish every one a joyful Christmas and a wonderful new years. This holiday for me is to give thanks to god for every thing he has done for us. So our family on Christmas day would get together and have a big dinner were we pray, and give thanks and also become closer as a family. We would put a tent in d yard and dance, eat, laugh, and sing we do this every year to have d younger ones know who are their uncle, aunt, and cousins.

I forgot about the blog..... anyaways i couldn't have do it because I live in Dangriga n we don't have a computer at home and when i came back to Belmopan my computer is disconnected. Amyways let me answer the blog. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too. I love Christmas, actually Christmas is one of my favorite holidays. as usual i spend Christmas with my family. From when i was younger my great grandmother had a dinner every midnight, but she died like 3 years ago, but me and my family and my mom's parents continues the tradition every Christmas Eve. In every Christmas night all the family comes together and go to my grandparents house. That is when all the family get to get together and talk and have fun. I am so glad that i can enjoy God's birthday.

well..the best part of christmas for me before, when my grandparents were alive was spending time together..in the village with my grandparents, aunts and uncles and my mom before my sis was born,we'd all have a party at my house and the whole villagers would come and we would party all night and sing, tell stories and make each other laugh..it was the greatest thing ever..and we would go to the center of the village and dance in circles and masqueredes would come and chase everyone..lol..it was really fun but since they both died, christmas was boring..it has been for over six years now..

I am Mr. Morrow - or better known as Coach D.  I am your facilitator for this class.  My goal is that, through this class, you understand who you are in God's eyes...who He created....what your purposes are and what hinderances might be there lurking to keep you from becoming all you were created to be.
We will have fun.  You will be challenged to think a little differently than you might have been trained to think.
But, all in all, let's totally agree to keep an open mind!
