Ok so you have seen part of the show and some of you have even read the book. Now I want you to tell me in your own words a little bit about the person who wrote the book. What I mean is (Don't just give me fats and dates) but I want you to tell me about the man. What makes him in your opinion write what wrote and what he was like as a man. The way you will be graded on this is how much time you spend detailing the man. So don't just fake your way through this as I will know. Good Luck Oh and now is the time to impress me with you great writing skills. So get someone you trust to look over what you write before you post it.

In a story form, the writer is telling us about God and having faith and following the right path. The main character-Christian had a burden on his back and later on in the movie it just came off. It came off because he followed and listened to the right things, he had faith in God and he didn't look back. I think that the writer wants more people to have more faith in God, that’s why he wrote this book, and to make everyone know what it is like to have faith, and to learn from it.

its a pretty clear thing..this writer is trying to show us just the real thing that is going on around us..he is trying to show us and the kids in a way that they will understand the benefits of having faith in God and doing what God wants us to do..the man christian who had a burden trusted in God and no matter what people told him and what he came across, he still believed in God and kept on going....he didnt listen to superstitions,he dint believe in money as the only important thing, he didnt just want big things but the blessings and love of God..he read a book that told him what to do and couldnt put the book down or question his faith...and that is what i think the author is trying to show..that even when your faith is being questioned you need to know that temptations come but still you gotta believe that God will help you through it no matter what it is that you face in life..your faith shall help you..and when in trouble..pray to God and he will help you...

The way I think about that man was that he was very open-minded to opinions, and in the story the character was very steadfast in his journey. The author was trying to reveal some of the most common tests any Christian must embark and persevere throungh in order to attain his/her goals. Through sufferings, a Christain can attain enlightenment from the Lord, and it is to test how strong a person's will and faith is, just so to be with God. The author was probably describing some of the exact same experiences he had went through to achieve atonement with the Lord and suceeded. The author must have had a lot on the line, especially burdens, to go on a journey to God and prevail through all the perils and traps, but he must have also had a very powerful motive, like wanting to protect and save his family and see the kingdom of God, as this is the Will of God.

I believe that John Bunyan was very creative and truly believed in God to write a book like Piligrims Progress. John was accused because of his beliefs just like Christain was in his book. John Bunyan through many of his own troubles i think he wrote about them, because he knew what it is like to be a Christian. John Bunyan just came up with easy examples so that we can understand everything easier. What happens in his book isn't what literaly happens to everday Christains but we can describe it feeling like that.
In the book or movie Christain went through a lake where he got stuck but that doesn't happen to us it's like saying that Satan was putting stuff in front of him to stop him from following God, and John Bunyan also faced being troubled by many things but he still wanted to continue preaching what he believed in.
John Bunyan knew that something was wrong with believeing in nothing because he couldn't stop thinking about sins as people would call it so that was how his religous life started.
In the book John Bunyan helped many people through their troubles because he was teaching that if we don't loose our faith God will help us through our hardest times.
So no matter what happens to us we need to rememeber it's only Satan wanting us to give up but God's hand is there, we just dont see it because of our worries, but if we have faith we will see Him waiting for us.

i think that the author wrote the book as an inspiration to what he believes. he wanted us to understand what he thinks and try to open our eyes in another way. he wants to test our faith, make us review what we are doing now so that late on we won't be late. the way he truly believed in god and had faith tells us that he is a mad of honor and that we should follow his example.

i think that the author wrote the book on what he thinks our journey is like in order to get into heaven. he is saying that we will have many obstacles to get through in order to get to heaven, and if we get distracted by any of those obstacles that the devil has put in the path we will not end up not getting into heaven but end up some where worse.

The muvie is good and I think the story help some of us to just walk in the right path and sho us that we need to just puy all behind and go for the stars a head

I believe John Bunyan was a victim of a harsh monarchy that forced people to belive in one common religion. I believe him to be a man of courage and of deep love for the Lord. For a man without courage couldnt have faced the harsh treatment that John Bunyan received. when he was imprisoned for preaching out in public he began to write the book that we all consider an excellent example of our christian stuggle to reach the "Celestial City" or Heaven. I believe he wrote this book to show everyone a general idea of what all Christians go through in their lives. I also believe that he was inspired by God when he wrote this book, that God used him to show the people the right path to take if they want to be with God.

I believe John Bunyan; he was accused because of his beliefs. He through many of his own troubles I think he wrote about them, he knew what it is like to be a Christian. Christian can attain enlightenment from the Lord, and it is to test how strong a person's will and faith is, just so to be with God. He could do whatever thing about GOD, because only GOD could change everything.

i believe the writer, john bunyan, was stuck in a troubling time in his life where everyone wanted him to do one think but couldn't because of his intense love for God. I believed he asked God to use him to minister to the people of his time even though he was in prison, and God did even more than he thought he ever "dreamed" (LOL) he would be used.
His story showed the Christian journey, through all the trials and tribulations. It depicted the way we should and shouldn't handle negative influence, trying times and even evil (spiritual) beings. John Bunyan experienced a lot and was a great example of a devoted Christian that loved serving God.

The author's name is John Bunyan. He is a writer and a preacher.
I believe that John wrote this book was to show us that how God made up his path and how will be like if we believed in Him. and because he'd experience it, so he wrote it down to show us what to do is right. Sometimes we do have some problem in our life, but that doesn't mean that God is not there to help you, and Satan's work is let you believe in him but not God. no matter what happened, John still believe in God, he would still pray to Him, worship Him, Love Him,give Him everything, and that is what God want us to do. John never give up. The images that John uses in Pilgrim's Progress are but reflections of images from his own world. We need to have faith in ourself. And he wrote about a journey to heaven, that is the way that we should do in our life. walk in God's path, because he will lead us to the right direction. keep walking and never turn back. ask for forgiveness and God will forgive you if you're truely repent. never back down, say YES to the Lord and say NO to the devil. AND THAT IS OUR GOAL.

Well I must say that the author of Pilgrim's Progress is very outspoken and severely open-minded in his beliefs and opinions toward facing the right path to salvation. I assume that he had many struggles and temptations as a christian, some that he had to face and overcome through faith, and others that he just had to learn how to deal with. I think that his personal experiences with God lead him to the writing of this book. He perfectly depicts the protoganist as being very optimistic in his journey and consistent in his main goal and accomplshments. It demonstrates how havng faith clears up your paths and battles, and how never giving up on what you believe is the answer and key to the right salvation from God which you must seek.

The author, John Bunyan, was telling us one of the examples of being a christian. John Bunyan had strong faith and believed in God, trusting Him. He knew what was right from wrong. John Bunyan showed us through the book or the muvie of how his life was like as a christian. He put himself as a character in a movie to describe what it will be like to become or be a christian. John had true faith in God. By he writing this book, he showed us one of the examples. In the movie, while Christian was on the way to the celestial city, there were many temptations. This described how we should win and overcome the temptations. Although Christian fell in few temptation. He was able to win the temptation through believing Him. God was always beside him and helped him to go on straight path. This movie had great inspiration for helping unchristians to become a christian. John Bunyan had many temptations to overcome during his christian life. This movie was like his autobiography of his christian life. He had trust in God and never loose faith in Him. Although Satan is always tempting us to get farther from God, We should not loose faith and use the movie or the book to encourage us to go to the correct path and not be lost during our journey to the straight, narrow path. John Bunyan helped us to have courage and to keep us with our strong faith without being tempted.

John Bunyan was born November 1628 in a little town in England. John’s family wasn't really financially but they where still able to send him to school. In Johns younger years the devil controlled his life, he cursed and blasphemed the name of the Lord but later in his life he started having visions and dreams of hell. When John was 16 his mother died and his father remarried 2 months later. This caused a gap between John and his father so he entered the military. after John quit the military got married. John and his wife were as poor as poor can be. His pathway to the New Life was the same that the Pilgrim trod. He knew the Valley of Humiliation, and the Valley of the Shadow of Death; he had lain in the dungeons of Doubting Castle; and he finally overcame Giant Despair. He felt himself to be a great sinner and constantly stood in fear of the wrath of God. In the years to follow John wrote many books that where sermons he preached. John was sent to Jail for preaching, when the Restoration came to be only certain people were aloud to preach so John was thrown into prison. In prison John had a dream form which he wrote Pilgrims Progress.

The writer has a very creative mind in the way that he wrote the story. It is written in a unique way, one that I personally have never seen before. Writing a stroy from the perspective of a dream is very clever and to the best of my knowledge, he wrote it based on a dream that he, himself had while in prison. The writer(John Bunyan) was not always such a strong man of God but a series of events in his life led him to notice that he was a sinner and that he needed God. He went on to preach many messages and sermons and write many books. John's life is a good testimony to those that are struggling in faith and how to turn around and The Pilgrim's Progress is a good guide.

John Bunyan, I think the reason why he worte this story is beacuse he want people have more faith on God. And he is a very creative author, because this story won't make people feel bored, also it make people think more and learned more. This story make me feel he is wrote about life, people 's life. In our life, everyone will meet problem, temptation,interference,trap...such hurt. But also we will meet light,right and hope. But sometimes we don't know they are just beside us and try to help us to leave all of the devil. In this movie is the same, Christian try to help all the peolpe who are live in the evil or dark, but most of them do not believed him, because they don't have faith in their heart, so they still live in the hurt. So, I think this story was try to tell us walk our road carefully don't let some bad thing cover our eyes, also have faith and hope.

Well, I think that the author/ the main character is a "special" person. I think the author is trying to tell us or to teach us how to follow God, how to go to the "HEAVEN" through this book, phlgrim's progress. The main character, Christian is a very "faithful" man. He believed in God and follow God's word and do the things that God wanted him to do step by step. Even though he did made some mistakes or doubted God, but sooner or later, he believed God again. And evetually, he passed all the tests/ temptation and finally reached to the "Heaven"/ the place that God promised us. The author wrote this book to show us that each one of us is a sinner, but all we have to do is just believe in God, and changed our lifestyle. Become a Christian and follow God. Do everything step by step, don't rush. I think the author is really good at guiding people to walk the right path. The book Pilgrim's Progress is basically talk about how a Christian should do and the path that he/she should walk. He showed us all in a book with the perspective of a dream. Pilgrim's Progress is a really good book. I have never seen a story that has been told like that!

I think that the author is trying to describe how will our journey to heaven be and what things can we come up with. His family wasn´t wealthy and through that age he was with the devil(he cursed, ...) and when his mom died and his dad remarried he became further from his dad and his journey began. He was afraid of what the Lord would do to him, but he overpassed the giant and the valleys as the Pilgrim.
