During the start of the Wed. nights series titled Roman Nights it talked about the writer of this book.  For whom was the book written and why was it written.  I would also like to get your understanding of the book of Romans well at least the first chapter.  Remember it is due by Thursday Morning at 8:30am.

The author of the Book of Romans as the apostle Paul.
As with all Paul's epistles to the churches, his purpose in writing was to proclaim the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ by teaching doctrine and edify and encourage the believers who would receive his letter.
Of particular concern to Paul were those to whom this letter was written—those in Rome who were “loved by God and called to be saints”. Because he himself was a Roman citizen, he had a unique passion for those in the assembly of believers in Rome. Since he had not, to this point, visited the church in Rome, this letter also served as his introduction to them.
From Wednesday night, I have learned a lot thing about Romans Book. The video told us that Romans was written to the church in Rome. Romans were about Power, so Paul refers to that by taking of the “Power” of Christ. Key Verses of Romans:
Romans 5:8, “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:37-39, “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Jesus is the only answer!!

The book of Romans by Apostle Paul was written for the Romans who were living a life of sin, debauchery, immorality, wickedness, pride, and lust.(I could name more of the things the romans did at the era, but you get the idea) The book was written to depict all the unseen chaos caused by the people and politicians and leaders, and the romans were blinded by their own pride to realize the destructio they brought about their homes. The first chapter of Romans talked about how much Paul wanted to go to Rome and save all that he could with the Gospel. It was God's wrath the Romans had brought about, and Hod would punish all the evil-doers and spare and save all the righteous who heeded the warnings.

The Epistle of Paul to the Romans, usually referred to simply as Romans, is the sixth book in the New Testament. Biblical scholars agree that it was written by the Apostle Paul to explain that Salvation is offered through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is by far the longest of the Pauline epistles, and is considered his "most important theological legacy"

the book of Romans was written by Paul to a Roman church in Rome. Paul wrote this book to explain to the church how they can have salvation. the first chapter Paul speaks of his longing to visit Rome and how mankind are filled with perverse ways and the God gives them a free will to do whatever they want, and also that men's minds are completely filled with sin.

The book of Romans was written by Apostle Paul. I was mainly written for the Romans. It was written to them because they were the one who was following the path of wickedness and who sined. When I went on the Wednesday service, I learned many things about the book of Romans... It is basically telling that Paul is a servant, and Jesus is the Son of God. We are one, We are called saints by God. We should always serve God with our spirit. We should not be ashamed of Gospel of Christ. God is real. We should trust and believe in God not only with our mouth, but with our whole body. He is our Savior.

Romans was wrote by Apostle Paul and it was written for the Roman's people who are live in the sin not with God, like wickedness and lust. The first chapter was talked about a person name Paul that he wanted to go to Rome and save everyone with the Gospel. I think everyone should followed God and work for Him. Like share the other about God and have faith. This is very important for me, because sometimes I will feel shamed to tell people about God. I think I need to have more faith on God.

The book of Romans was written by Paul, whose name was changed from Saul. He wrote this book to the church in Rome. He wanted to teach them that the church should be united.
He wanted to show them that the Gentiles should he a part of the church.
This was his message:
1) all men are sin guilty.
2) all men need a savior
3) Jesus died for all men
4) we are all made one body through Jesus.

Romans chapter one starts out by pointing out that Paul called himself a "servant" and that through jesus in the flesh, the son of God, we recieve and are made one by Him. It also says that God calls us saints and that we are called to serve with our spirit! It's a spirit thing.

The book Romans Nights was written by apostle Paul.it seems he wrote this letter(Book of Romans)to the church to pave the way for his forthcoming visit to Rome and for his future mission efforts. He desired to visit Rome to enjoy the fellowship of the Christians there and to encourage them in the faith and to be encouraged by them.
The book of Romans is about living in the Spirit versus living in the flesh. It's about taking our self-consumed focus off of ourselves and worldly things, placing our focus on God and our spiritual life. When we are living in the Spirit, we are in Christ. We have the very Spirit of the Law and the Truth in our hearts, minds, and souls. We know when we do something wrong and feel bad when we do it. it's also about loving others and living peacefully with others, including our enemies. Its about not seeking revenge when we feel we have been wronged by someone. Paul says that God will avenge us. The book of Romans is about not wasting time competing with each other. We should humble ourselves and be thankful for anything and everything God gives us. Paul tells us that we should not worry about and compare the blessings of others to the blessings that God has given to us. We were all created by God for whatever purpose He has for us.Paul also says we should not boast about how good we are at obeying God's laws. He says we can't get ourselves into Heaven by simply following the law without believing in Christ, having faith in Him, and having a spiritual relationship with Him. :)

It is Apostal Paul who wrote the book of Romans. Paul is talking to the Jews but he didn't tell them up front because he didn't want them to walk away. The tithe is 10% of what God has required of us as a Covenent.
Genesis 8:22. it told us that what you learn will release you spiritual, impacts your spirit and thn you will live differently.
Romans 2:1-5 is a letter of being Christ like. The judgment of God- judging others brings self-condemnation and judgment will come to everyone. We are the one who shouldn't judge people, because judgment is when we see ourselves as special- beyond the same condition. Sin is sin and all sin is going to Hell !! Delay doesn't mean escape. Romans 2:5, Treasure up wrath.
Matthew 6:20, God sees and knows everything that is happening.
All the more reason to repent today because you might be gone tomorrow, you don't know so repent today.
Romans 2:11- All of God's people are eual in his sights. v.13- "Hearers" are not "innocent". Don't just be hears be doers of God's word and be doers of the word to be Justified. JUST BE YOU AND THAT'S ENOUGH! "Just" in Greek means innocent. v.15- The Heart hold the Word and conscience agrees with the Word and thought reveal your Agreement of Conflict. "Morality"- God's Word in Man's Heart.
Revelation 20:11-15 is "The Final Judgment" and the final judgment is coming.
Romans 2:16-24 is Elitism. The Religious Pride reveals ignorance. God's Name is SLAMMED because of this attitude (elitism). The Right Heart: A man is a Jew if he is one inwardly and circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man's praise is not from men, but from GOD.
Jeremiah 31:33- 1) don't judge other. 2) reward and wrath are coming to everyone. (i don't have the third one as you know...) 4) God's word is imprinted on all heart. 5) Religious pride reveals ignorance. 6) Your heart reveals your identity.
And that is all the notes i have from the Wall...:p And i'm so glad that i can actually learn all of these stuff about God. Thank you Coach... Thank you God... :) Amen!!

Well, as mentioned so much times previously on the other blog responses, the Brook of Romans was written by the non other than the Apostle Paul. This book was mainly written for the Romans, hence the title of the book itself. Paul wrote this in the sense of letting them know of goodness instead, rather than continue to follow that designated path of wrong deeds, evil, wickedness, etc. Therefore, these Romans were great sinners. and were on their way to the direct opposite of salvation in the case. According to the Wednesday service that we have all been viewing, it was mainly concentrated on the Book of Romans, actually starting with chapter one. So far i have viewed both first 2 chapters, and have learned that Paul was teaching these people that Jesus is the Son of God, the Son of Man, and that he (Paul) was serving this great master by being a servant at his duty. The Romans were definably not aware of the vast chaos that they were creating, while Paul tried saving them by the Word of God, mentioning that they were spirits of God, and that our might Father is real. I have learned that being ashamed and questionable about God's word will only lead into a bigger chaos problem than the one than has already evolved, and that believing and accepting him is the way to solve anything and everything.

The book of Romans was written by Paul. It was written for the people in Rome, or more specifically a church in Rome. He wrote this book so that the people of Rome would have salvation. The specific purpose of the letter was to describe the doctrine
of salvation through the death of Jesus and through faith in the blood of
Jesus. To quote Paul, "The righteous shall live by faith." (Romans
1:17). "...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and
are justified greely by his grace through the redemption that came by
Christ Jesus. God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through
faith in his blood." (Romans 3:23,24). "But God demonstrates his own love
for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans
5:8). Paul goes on at length about the role of faith in salvation and
about the necessity of the blood of Jesus, apart from our own righteous
acts for salvation. Human effort is not the key, but God's sovereign
choice, as is stressed in chapters 8-9.

well guessing everyone wrote the same idea but I will try to change it. Brook of Romans was written Apostle Paul. This book was mainly written for the Romans, hence the title of the book itself. Paul wrote it in the sense of letting them know of goodness instead, rather than continue to follow that designated path of not doing the right choice, evil, wickedness, Therefore, t Romans were sinners. and were on their way to the direct opposite of salvation in the case. According to the Wednesday service that we have all been viewing, it was mainly concentrated on the Book of Romans, actually starting with chapter one of the book. Writing the book ws to help other people with salvation that they needed. Being saved and being with christ is a choice that we can all be on the right path.

The book of Roman was written by Paul, one of the twelve disciples of Jesus Christ. The reason he wrote this book was to tell the Romans to believe in God, to stop following the path of sins!

The Apostle Paul wrote the book of Romans and he wrote it obviously for the Romans. He wrote it as a sort of warning for the Romans to turn from what the had been doing and to live their lives for God. The first chapter is like the introduction to the whole book and Paul is telling them how he wishes he could be there to save as many people for God as he could. The whole book of Romans focuses a lot on sin and how we have "fallen short of the glory of God" because of our sin, but it also says that "while we were yet sinners Christ died for us" so Paul is inspiring hope in us to serve God.

well the book of romans was written by the apostle Paul(whose Jewish name was Saul, and was written to the church in Corinth or also know as Romans, hence the name of the book. the book of romans was sent to the church in Corinth in the form of a letter. his purpose in writing was to proclaim the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ by teaching doctrine and encouraging the believers who would receive his letter. The Book of Romans tells us about God, who He is and what He has done. It tells us of Jesus Christ, what His death accomplished. It tells us about ourselves, what we were like without Christ and who we are after trusting in Christ. Paul points out that God did not demand men have their lives straightened out before coming to Christ. While we were still sinners Christ died on a cross for our sins.
