OK now that we have begun to take our tours on the truth project I would like to know what you think you know from the first tour.  What is the cosmic battle?  Why did Jesus come?  What choices do we have a a race of people?  Why do we Tend to choose one truth over the other and which do you at this point think is right?  Lastly of the people seen in the video pick one and explain the piont of the person.

Yeah, now that we have been concentrating on the the truth tour, there are a lot more questions that we can relate to, and they are questions that really demand a stage of both critical thinking and analyzing. Today, we focused on part of the first lesson, which was Lesson One, whereby it was started and introduced with the single question, Why did Jesus come into the World? What i think i know so far from the tour, is that according to John 13:33-38, the Bible says that Jesus came to the world to testify the truth. I have also learned that lies is what keeps us captive, and that the truth is what sets us free. We as humans tend to react and respond to truth in so many different manners such as suppressing it, rejecting it, exchanging it for lies, and so much more negative choices. The cosmic battle is simply the Truth vs. the Lie. The truth is the reality and the lies is the illusion. One of the person's mentioned that he thinks that Jesus came to the world to free those who were captive. He doesn't mean to free those who stood behind walls and in cells, but those who are captive by the fault of their sin.

Well I thought about the first tour of the video was very interesting. They were basically talking about what is truth? Some people had a whole explanation over what is truth & others had just a straight answer. It was very interesting knowing what peoples point of view was over the truth. It also made me think over my own opinion over the truth. Jesus came to save us from our sins he was the son of God. He was the altimate sacrafice. Choose from what is right from wrong and accepting what Jesus Christ is teaching us. You have to find out what is the altimate truth & choosing between them. To satasfied our human needs.

In the beginning of the video the teacher( the man who is talking and asking questions) asked the students,"Why did Jesus come into the world?"Lies is what keeps us captive and the truth is what sets all of us free.in the book of John- Jesus said why he came. Which was to testify the truth. The Truth vs. the Lie is the cosmic battle.the lies is the illusions and the truth is the reality. One of the student said he thinks that Jesus came into the world to free those who were captive by fault of their sin.

The video of truth made me think more about truth and what all the people said. The question that really caught my eye was "Do you really believe, that what you believe is really real? when you are at the tight spot your belief might change.

I think that the first tour was quiet inspiring and it helped with some questions that i have had before and i hope that he can continue to help me. Everything that he said had a lot of meaning to it and to me it always seemed that he made us think harder on issues we dont really take seriously.
The cosmic battle is truth which is reality vs. lies which is an illusion.
Jesus came to testify the truth on earth to save us,fulfill the prophecies and to redeem us which means that he had to do something in order to get to us.
The choices we have today are the poor chioces and the right choices. We also can choose which father we want to obey because like the Bible says the devil is also called our father who tends to control us alot.
We choose the easier truth to get to because we dont feel like giving up life to get the real truth which comes from God and in reality of the truth God is life to us.
One of the guys said that we need to recapture the Biblical truth there once was.
This is some of what i got out of the lesson video.

In this first tour I learned many thing. The Cosmic Battle is the battle that has been taking place since a very long time, it is between the Spirit of Truth, who is the Holy Spirit, and the Spirit of Falsehood, who is the Devli(lies and carnal things). Many people have a different answer to why Jesus came to Earth, some say to save us, others say to take away our sins but the real reason is in John. It is in John, chapter 18, verse 37. This says, "You are the king then!", said Pilate. Jesus answered, "You are right in saying I am a king. In fact, for this reason I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth...". So the actual reason is that Jesus camt to Earth to testify to the truth. As a race of people we are full of chices, most chices we take are bad ad lead to sin, but that is what our nature desires, we are humans we want carnal thing which we dont need. Our best choice is to follow God´s word. Although sometimes sin gets in the way and pushes un away from God, it´s like a ladder it´s easier to come down(sin which leads to hell) that to go up (God which leads to heaven). We are going up and suddenly sin takes us a stpe down. We choose the truth that seems easy, fun, in other words the lies which in this case we turn them into our truth, our truth is shown by how we behave, our personality, how we react tothings. The realy truth is real, truth is God. In this first tour it was mentioned that Sanctification and Salvation have a connection with truth. Salvation is through God and Jesus so that means that truth is God and Jesus, as well as something very important in our lives. A person in the video said that truth is what is really real, that means that truth is not just real, it´s a hard thing to explain, for example is I say I will stab a person and I did but never did it before nor after waht I said was real, but it was not really real. Really real is God.

As we took the first tour, I had many different thoughts in my mind. The word truth can be defined many different ways to us human beings, but truth came from one place. The topic for the first tour was focusing on "why did Jesus come into thhe world?". In John 13:37 it said, "Jesus came to the world to testify to the truth."The cosmic battle is truth vs. lie. Truth is the reality, and the lie is illusion. The choices that we have as a human is poor and right choices. We also have a choice in which religion we are going to follow. Many different people have their own meaning of the word truth. We tend to think of the meaning of how we will like it to be meant. The way we difine truth is mixed in with lies and think that whatever we think is right is the truth. It might be true, but mostly, the meaning is incorrect. As we proceed with this truth project, I hope that we can grasp what the word truth really mean. During the video, I heard one person of the group saying that Jesus came to the world to save us. After hearing this, I thought that it was a wise guess. I think he meant that Jesus came to the world to save us from all the sins that we made because He loves us so much.

the first tour was a little interesting. i believe that people like to corrupt the truth to fit their lifestyle because they dont want to change they want the truth to change. the Cosmic Battle is truth vs. lies. the truth is reality its what really happens and lies is an illusion what we actually want things to be some times. the reason Jesus came down to earth was to show us the truth, and since Jesus says he is the truth then he came to show us himself and the salvation that we can receive through him, the truth.
when times used to be more simpler and less choices were given it seems there was more peace in the world. however God wants us to have freedom so he gave us the ability to choose. in todays society we are given more choices then ever before and not always the right ones. the reason people dont always choose the right one is because they dont want to give up their lifestyle. they want to keep living the way they are and live a lie and be happy for a little while then live in truth and be happy eternaly. i believe the Bible to be the truth. that if we want to have a life living in the truth then we need to follow the Bible and its teachings. also we need the Holy Spirit, it says he will guide us into all truth. so we need both the Bible and the Holy Spirit.
there was man named Ravi Zacharias who said that the most important question was "What is truth". he believes that we all need to find out the truth which is Jesus in order to be saved.

mmm... the first tour i think is interesting because it talks about truth. it says that truth is what jesus came to testify. it talks about how we need to say and follow the truth, because thats what jesus wnat us to do. he said it is like a fight in our mind with truth, and that we must not follow the devil. one guy say that he think dat jesus came to the earth to save us......mmmmm because we were trapped.

From the first tour i learned many things. I learned was all the changes that we go through when we "gaze on the face of God"....
Gazing on the face of God 1. exposes us in ourselves, 2. exposes us in our culture, and 3. it turns us into people that say, "here i am ,Lord, send me".
That,to me was very powerful because i know that it is very hard for people to cope when they are "exposed" and though many people want to be able to ask the lord to send them , they dont wanna be exposed.

In this tour, i also learned of the cosmic battle.
The Cosmic Battle is the fight within spirituality, within the supernatural and within the souls of humans everywhere. It is the fight between the spirit of Truth and the spirit of lies, the spirit of Reality and the spirit of illusion and the Spirit of The Lord, God Almighty and the spirit of the devil.

Also, the "guide" of this tour shared the reason Jesus Christ was born, saying it was to "Testify to the Truth". His class then shared the reasons they thought He came. Some said "to save us", some said"redemption", while others said "to set the captives free".
When Jesus went to trial in front of Pilate, it can be said that "the Truth was on trial". Because Jesus is the ever-present reality, he is the really real, and nothing can, could or will change that.

Though God is the only truth that will never hurt us, many choose other truths over him. Many choose what they want to believe is the truth over Him, because it may seem easier or less time consuming. The thing is, that people, past, present, and future, are lazy and greedy. They will choose the truth that they want to be the truth, that they think will lift them higher and that is completely opposite from God.
I believe Jesus is the Truth, and i believe he will take care of me even when it is hard, i believe if i work for Him and aim to glorify Him, i will be able to spend eternity with him, because he loves me.

In the video, Dr. Ravi Zacharias said, "The most important question to ask is WHAT IS TRUTH", and though many said otherwise, the truth is the reality. The truth is what is really real, it is the everlasting, everpresent, reality that will never leave us or change. The Truth, is Jesus Christ.

For most of my life, I had taken it for granted that Jesus, although certainly not a god, was nevertheless an historical personage - perhaps a magician skilled in hypnosis. To be sure, I knew that some of the world's greatest scholars had denied his existence. Nevertheless, I had always more or less supposed that it was improbable that so many stories could have sprung up about someone who had never existed. Even in the case of other deities, such as Zeus, Thor, Isis, and Osiris, I had always taken it for granted that they were merely deified human heroes: men and women who lived in the later stages of prehistory - persons whose reputations got better and better the longer the time elapsed after their deaths.

The name Jesus occurs only seven times in the entire book, Christ only four times, and Jesus Christ only twice! While Revelation may very well derive from a very early period (contrary to the views of most biblical scholars, who deal with the book only in its final form), the Jesus of which it whispers obviously is not a man. He is a supernatural being. He has not yet acquired the physiological and metabolic properties of which we read in the gospels. The Jesus of Revelation is a god who would later be made into a man - not a man who would later become a god, as liberal religious scholars would have it.

In our first tour we really did learn a lot of important information. One of the important things we learned about was the Cosmic Battle: Truth vs. Falsehood, there are sides. You are either on the side of truth or the side of falsehood and lies. This is the Cosmic Battle between truth and lies. We learned more about the Cosmic Battle in John 8.

The topic “Why did Jesus Come into the world?” was brought up the the first tour as well. We found our answer in John 18:37 where Jesus said, “For this reason I was born, and for this reason I came into the world, to testify to the truth.” In the video many people answered that Jesus came into the world to save us that was one of the reasons but the reason that we looked at was that he came to testify to the truth.

In this world as humans we tent to be very bias. So when we hear different truths we are blinded to truth because the truth that we chose may be easier or less time consuming. Its easier for us to just get over with.

In the video there was a man named Gordon Pennington he said that truth is the search for things that are most reliable, sustainable, absolute. Truth is the desire that we can have something to put our trust in. Truth deserves to be tested, truth is being tested. The risks of perusing truth are tremendous, but it is a great adventure.

well the first "tour" was somewhat a questioner. the tour guide asked many questions and had specific answers that he wanted. the first question he asked us is" why did Jesus come to earth. he asked many people, all of them had good answers but like i said he had specific answers. he gave us a verse and in that verse it said that jesus came to earth to testify to the truth. another question he asked us was "what is truth", this question makes alot of people think. at first my answer was way off but as he explaned to us more about the truth it started to become more clear to me. i have come to the conclusion that truth is "God". may be you dont think of it like that but this is what i think.

i think that the cosmic battle is a battle between truth and evil. it has been going on since the beginning and it is still going on. no matter how hard we try to win the devil is always fighting back, he has his ways and it is honestly hard not to fall but with faith everyone can withstand the strongest lies. satan is the father of lies so he knows them better than anyway and he knows exactly how to make them seem good, but realy they arnt.
well in the beginning God said that he gave us a choice to serve him because he didnt want a bunch of robots serving him, but the devil asked him what choice, there was only one thing to choose so God gave the option of God or the devil.
the one thing that realy stood out from one of the students in the videos, was when our tour guide was asking the question "why did Jesus come to earth?" he said that the reason the jesus came to earth was to set the captives free, this made me think. i do think a lot but this made me ponder and think over and over. i cant realy explain why but i think it is because i have heard this so many times and it was never clear to me but now i understand what he was talking about when he said it.

In the "Truth Project", the question that we focused on was "why did Jesus came into the world?"
the cosmic battle is "truth vs. lie". In the video it tells us that in John chapter 13, verse 37 says: "Jesus came to the world to testify to the truth!" The cosmic battle was "truth vs. lie". In the video it tells us that the truth is the reality, and the lie is the illusion. We can make our own choices, whether believe in God and follow Jesus or not. The definition for the word "truth" is vary, many people have different definition, they define the word "truth" with their own words or whatever they think that it describes "truth" the best. One of the person in the video think that the reason that Jesus came into the world was to save everyone of us, the professor said that's incorrect. That's only a little part of the reasons, but that's not the main reason. That person thinks that the reason why Jesus came into the world, was to die for our sins, to wash away our sins, to save us. I agree with him until the professor said the answer was wrong. But I really think that we want to search for truth is because us, humans, always searching for something, looking for something, that's our nature, we want to search for what's right, what's correct, what's the truth. That's why we tend to choose truth over the other things!

The truth project is simple but yet confusing in a way but the question that main caught my attention is "Why did Jesus came into the world."Jesus came to the world to testify to the truth!" I'm not sure what that meant but I think the cosmic battle is just revealing to the world what is good from bad or what is the truth from lie but either way truth is believing in God and walking in the path he has prepared for us even if it don't seems right most of the time,
